Koch Foods is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Collinsville, AL on 1st shift. At least 5-10 years of work experience in poultry processing or food processing industries are highly desired. Plant experienced in a manufacturing environment IS REQUIRED at a supervisory level. Responsible for supervising, leading and training of all direct reports in order to establish, implement, maintain suitable programs, to keep processing equipment operating in an efficient, dependable and safe condition. The supervisor is also responsible for making sure that these goals are reached in a safe and regulatory manner.


  • Assists the Maintenance Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Maintenance programs, Preventive Maintenance and repair procedures on food processing equipment and machinery to assure it operates in an efficient and dependable manner.
  • Assists manager with monitoring and evaluating equipment performance in order to minimize downtime and equipment failure re-occurrence.
  • Provide necessary technical support and guidance to all Maintenance Team Members as well as the Production Management team and their team members.
  • Reviews and ensures necessary documentation is in place and is completed correctly to ensure that established programs are maintained in order to provide documentation required for our various customers.
  • Responsible to supervise, train, coach, and lead, all maintenance staff.
  • Assist in the preparation for and execution of customer, corporate, and third party audits.
  • Direct reports include: Maintenance Lead Persons and Maintenance team members.


Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5 to 10 years relevant work experience in the food industry, preferably in poultry or poultry processing.
  • Must be an Analytical thinker with basic mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English language skills (reading and writing) are required.
  • Basic computer ability with working knowledge of basic computer programs.
  • Working Knowledge of Lockout Tagout and other industrial safety practices
  • Working Knowledge of HACCP, USDA and Good Manufacturing Practices
